Shenzhen River bordering Hong Kong and mainland China

Shenzhen River, flowing southwestwards into Shenzhen Bay, serves as the natural border between Hong Kong and mainland China.

In Shenzhen, one side of the river, constructions is thickly extended to the riverside, while the land still remains very undeveloped in the Frontier Closed Area on Hong Kong side.
